Frequently asked questions

Environment friendly delivery, on a fast and affordable basis — and a way for one person to earn something while travelling a route they were taking anyway.

Unlike a traditional courier, MyRoute uses real travellers already going by car, train or bus to somewhere near your destination. That often means faster delivery — same day or next day — at a lower cost, with no extra trip added to the road.

A wide range of everyday items. The traveller and the sender agree on the contents before the parcel is handed over.

Please do not send valuables, or anything prohibited on public or personal transport.

Yes. Every user on MyRoute is verified, and profiles carry ratings from earlier handoffs. At the moment the parcel changes hands you can authenticate the handoff in the app.

We also suggest the sender keeps the payment until the parcel has been delivered.

Yes. You only need to check whether anyone is travelling that way. If nobody is listed yet, post your request — when someone takes that route, they can pick your parcel up and deliver it.

We encourage the traveller and the sender to be clear with each other at pickup: where the parcel is going, who receives it, and the amount agreed.

MyRoute is not a party to that agreement, so we do not take sides in it. We do investigate every report, and we block anyone who misuses the platform in any way.

A traveller posts the journey they are taking from point A to point B, along with the spare space they want to use. They then look for a sender going the exact same way, at an amount that works for both of them. That amount is the traveller's earning.

We do not set the price. It is entered by our users, based on what they are sending and the journey being made.

Only payment gateway charges — roughly 5–7%, depending on how you pay and which bank you use.
